I’m a director and designer with a background in 3d form. Formerly working as a commercial sculptor (in clay) and creature designer for the movie industry, I decided to make the transition to animation back in 2011 with the desire to have more of a voice as a visual storyteller.
Whether subtle or direct, I maintain my first love for anatomy and character in my work.
My passion for great stories and great people keeps me on constant lookout. I make a conscious effort to stay curious about the world and all it has to offer, despite being a Schopenhauer zealot. I appreciate the absurd and believe we should all have a few good laughs while we're here.
I enjoy making stories that move the needle, be it emotional, social or both. The power of bridging good design with compelling narratives is unlimited. I also subscribe to the idea that to make a persuasive argument, you need to engage through compassion.
Over the past years, I have had the fortune of working in many mediums, industries and physical locations doing something I love.
I'm naturally drawn to adventure and wandering. I've spent a lot of time "living in the wind" throughout my life. These days, I'm finding the greatest adventure is right here at home being a husband and father (corny and true).
